FutureCapsule is a student-led initiative where young people record short messages to the future. These messages are securely archived and reopened after 20 years to reflect on how students today imagine society, technology, and the world. Our mission is to preserve youth voices for the future – not for likes, not for rankings, just for time itself.

FutureCapsule is an independent global research initiative studying how generations perceive the future over time.

Participants complete a short structured

questionnaire covering:

 

  • future expectations

  • optimism and uncertainty

  • AI and technology

  • societal concerns

  • expected global change

Submissions remain private by default. Public use only occurs with explicit consent.

Participants confirm they own the rights to their content and agree to long-term archival storage.
